I had reached the same conclusion that’s spelled out here, about writing posts in WordPress web2.0 interface, namely, that it sucks. They solution I had was to write the post in vim, using pandoc. This is my first attempt at using drivel, and besides only allowing one category per post, I have another flaw to point out: the HTML code of the links is sparsed in the midst of your texts, which can really hinder reading if you write with lots of links…
But other than that, seems a pretty cool tool so far!

EDIT2: I just found another problem with drivel: I choose the geek category, but drivel posted in Uncategorized. (I’ve fixed it now)
